Motörhead Fashion/Image

Motörhead (now)

Motörhead (then)

Motörheads fashion back in the day consisted of flared jeans, long hair and leather jackets. The leather jackets have buttons and patches all over them. This fashion style connotes the type of music that they created. The bands hairstyles was typical of "hair metal bands" that were around during the 80's. Motörheads fashion style was the typical style that rock bands wore in the 80's. The style of outfit was casual and showed the fans of the band what genre of music the band were. Motörheads fashion now is a more updated and newer look compared to how it was around the 80's. Lemmy the lead singer's (guy in the middle in the first picture , guy on the far right in the second picture) look has only slighly changed. Lemmys look now consists of a denim jacket instead of a leather one, skinnier jeans and big boots. He has still kept the sunglasses and black shirt on however the sunglasess have become more modern. Lemmy is also wearing a cowboy hat in the second image, this hat has become a key part of his image over the years. The other band members outfits have changed too but they still have connotations of rock n roll.

McFly (then)

McFly (now)

McFlys outfit in the first picture was stereotypical fashion in the 2000's. Their look was baggy jeans, floppy hair and t shirts or shirts and ties.  The band dressed for their age and the demographic audience. It was clear from their fashion style what kind of genre they were back then "pop punk". They are dressed rather casual considering their surroundings, the first picture shows that they are at a red carpet event. It shows that they are dressed comfortably and dressed in the style of the 2000's. The second picture is a more recent picture of the band. The picture shows them dressed a lot smarter than the first picture. The second picture also shows them at some sort of red carpet event. The band are all dressed in shirts and skinny keans. However, their hair isn't as floppy and messy as it used to be it is more styled. The bands clothing in this picture suggests that they are a more poppier band as they care more about their apperance.
